    As an RN (Registered Nurse) Floor Supervisor for a nursing home, your primary responsibilities typically include:

     

    1\. **Supervision and Leadership**: Provide leadership and direction to nursing staff on your assigned floor, ensuring that all patient care activities are carried out effectively and in accordance with established policies and procedures.

    2\. **Clinical Oversight**: Monitor the delivery of nursing care, assessing patient needs, developing care plans, and ensuring that care is provided in a timely and compassionate manner.

    3\. **Staff Management**: Assign duties to nursing staff, monitor their performance, and provide guidance and support as needed. Conduct regular evaluations and participate in the hiring and training of new staff members.

    4\. **Medication Management**: Oversee medication administration and ensure that medications are administered correctly and in accordance with physician orders and state regulations.

    5\. **Quality Assurance**: Participate in quality assurance activities, including audits, incident investigations, and performance improvement initiatives. Identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance the quality of care provided.

    6\. **Communication**: Serve as a liaison between nursing staff, other healthcare professionals, patients, and their families, facilitating effective communication and collaboration to ensure that patient needs are met.

    7\. **Documentation**: Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, documenting patient assessments, care plans, interventions, and outcomes in accordance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies.
