Job Summary:

Welcome to the Tenants Harbor General Store – a place for provisions and hospitality! Part of the Linda Bean’s Perfect family, we carry everything from Maine lobsters and local produce to Maine-made specialty foods. Our deli offers breakfast, lunch and dinner, as well as a meat and seafood counter. Grab-and-go meal options are available plus hot coffee roasted in Maine. We also have Maine made beer and wine, a large spirits selection, ice, propane tanks, and 24-hour gas pump.

The Tenants Harbor General Store is seeking Stock Clerks to receive, store, and move merchandise from the stockroom to shelves, racks, tables, and coolers. You will keep isles free from debris, dust and clean shelves, front shelves and displays, keep restrooms and other spaces clean and debris-free, and other tasks as assigned.

Schedule will vary according to operational needs, but regularly includes evenings, weekends, and holidays and may include some overtime. Store hours are 5am-8pm seven days a week.

Qualifications:

-A positive, people-first attitude--our business depends on service with a smile.

-A can-do attitude and a willingness to pitch in wherever needed. We’re looking for self-starters who take initiative and pride in their work.

-Ability to be on your feet and moving for the duration of your shift. Lifting up to 40 pounds may be required.

-Eligibility to work in the United States of America.

-Ability to communicate in English both orally and written, and ability to understand verbal directions.

Who We Are:

Linda Bean’s Perfect Maine encompasses offerings of Maine vacation rental cottages and wedding locations, and various businesses in midcoast Maine including two traditional Maine general stores in St. George. Our seven restaurants in Port Clyde, Portland, Freeport, and Ogunquit are known for our lobster rolls, bisque, ravioli and other lobster specialties. It doesn’t get more Maine than this.
