Outside Equipment Sales Representative

We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Outside Equipment Sales Representative to join our dynamic sales team at Maintainco inc. As an Outside Equipment Sales Representative, you will be responsible for promoting and selling our range of high-quality equipment to customers in various industries. This is an excellent opportunity for a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys building strong relationships with clients. We sell and service the Number 1 selling lift truck in the World TOYOTA and have been in the industy for 65 years.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and target potential customers in the assigned territory to generate new business opportunities.
- Conduct sales presentations and product demonstrations to showcase the features and benefits of our equipment.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop and implement effective sales strategies and achieve sales targets.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.
- Prepare accurate sales forecasts, reports, and other documentation as required.
- Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the sales process and after-sales support.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including customer service, technical support, and operations, to ensure smooth order processing and delivery.
Requirements:
- Proven track record in outside sales, preferably in the equipment or related industry.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish long-term relationships with customers.
- Self-motivated and target-driven, with a demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales goals.
- Excellent negotiation and closing skills, with the ability to identify customer needs and provide effective solutions.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
- Proficient in using CRM software and other sales tools to track leads, manage customer information, and generate reports.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the assigned territory as required.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in outside sales, preferably in the equipment or related industry.
