    Salary

    This is a full-time Non-Exempt, Fully Benefitted position. The anticipated salary for this position is $38,753.

    Position Summary

    The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the repair, maintenance, and improvements of buildings, roads, and mechanical systems to ensure operational efficiency and safety.

    Essential Responsibilities

    • Perform repairs, maintenance, and improvements on buildings, roads, and mechanical systems.
    • Conduct general maintenance in both interior and exterior environments.
    • Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and company standards.
    • Any and all other duties as assigned.

    Required Qualifications

    • Valid driver's license.
    • Minimum of 4 years of experience in maintenance for commercial and residential buildings, including carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC .

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience working in a safety-conscious environment.
    • Additional certifications in HVAC, electrical, or plumbing.

    Required Skills

    • Strong problem-solving abilities.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Attention to detail and safety awareness.

    Working Conditions

    • Ability to work extended hours, sometimes exceeding seven (7) hours per day.
    • Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including a respirator.
    • Ability to sit, stand, walk, and use hands for long periods.
    • Exposure to extreme temperatures, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, unpleasant odors, and loud noises.
    • Heavy physical activity (more than 50% of the job), including lifting, pushing, and pulling objects up to 50 pounds.
    • Requires crouching, bending, kneeling, stopping, reaching, climbing, as well as hand and finger dexterity.
    • Requires hearing and visual acuity.

    Safety and Hazards

    • Exposure to hazards such as moving mechanical parts, electrical shock, combustibles, and toxic or caustic chemicals. Must follow safety precautions and OSHA regulations.
