    Job Summary:
    We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Maintenance Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to our maintenance department by performing a variety of tasks related to the upkeep, repair, and safety of our facilities.     Key Responsibilities:
    - Assist in the general maintenance and repairs of buildings and grounds, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry tasks.
    - Perform routine inspections of facilities and equipment to ensure functionality and safety.
    - Help troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues promptly, liaising with the maintenance supervisor as necessary.
    - Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities, including work orders and inventory management.
    - Assist in the setup and takedown of equipment and furniture for events and gatherings.
    - Ensure cleanliness and organization of maintenance areas, tools, and supplies.
    - Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
    - Respond to urgent maintenance requests in a timely manner.
    - Collaborate with other team members and departments to complete projects effectively.
    - Learn and apply new skills relevant to maintenance operations.

    Qualifications:
    - High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
    - Previous experience in a maintenance or facilities role is a plus.
    - Basic knowledge of building systems (plumbing, electrical, HVAC) and maintenance procedures.
    - Ability to operate hand and power tools safely and effectively.
    - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
    - Good physical condition and ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and perform manual labor.
    - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    - Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    - Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed.
