    Residential Maintenance and Repair Carpenter – Technician I - Entry to Mid Level Position

    Position Overview

    As a Residential Maintenance Carpenter (Technician I), you’ll perform interior and exterior repairs and maintenance across various trades including carpentry, drywall, painting, basic electrical, plumbing, and appliance maintenance. You’ll work as part of a team to provide reliable, high-quality service at residential and commercial job sites.

    Key Responsibilities

    · Perform repairs in carpentry, drywall, painting, minor plumbing, and electrical work under supervision and direction

    · Assist in assessing and completing service requests in a timely, accurate, and professional manner

    · Assist in conducting routine maintenance on systems such as sump pumps, appliances, and fixtures

    · Perform basic drywall repair, texturing, and both interior and exterior painting

    · Lay flooring and tile

    · Maintain accurate documentation and daily reporting

    · Communicate with field lead to complete assigned tasks

    · Follow company safety protocols and use proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

    Technician I Qualifications (Entry to Mid-Level)

    · 3–5 years in residential/property maintenance

    · 1–2 years in paint and drywall repair

    · Familiarity with residential building codes

    · Competent in flooring, tile, and light electrical and plumbing work

    · Basic mechanical and troubleshooting knowledge

    · Competent in drywall, paint, flooring, and general repair

    · Basic framing knowledge and execution

    General Requirements

    · Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays

    · Comfortable working in Alaskan weather conditions

    · Valid driver’s license

    · Reliable transportation required including personal vehicle and up to date insurance and documentation

    · Must supply personal basic hand tools

    · Physically capable of lifting up to 70 lbs and performing manual labor

    · Strong communication, documentation, and time management skills

    · Background check required (pre-employment certification necessary)

    · Personal tool set required for daily use and on person daily
