    Position Summary: The Maintenance Controller plays a critical role in overseeing the daily operations of fleet maintenance activities. This position ensures work is properly planned, tracked, and executed while supporting branch teams and driving consistency across the maintenance program. The ideal candidate brings strong organizational skills, operational awareness, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Coordinate and monitor day-to-day fleet maintenance activities across multiple branches
    • Track maintenance schedules, work orders, and asset readiness to ensure minimal downtime
    • Partner with branch maintenance teams to prioritize and execute maintenance work
    • Maintain accurate records within maintenance systems, ensuring data integrity and visibility
    • Support compliance efforts related to DOT, safety, and quality standards
    • Assist in developing and maintaining preventive maintenance schedules
    • Collaborate with Fleet Services, Safety & Quality, and DOT Compliance teams
    • Identify and escalate maintenance issues impacting operations
    • Support reporting and analysis of maintenance KPIs and performance metrics
    • Assist with onboarding and integration during branch acquisitions
    • Perform additional duties as assigned by Maintenance Director

    Qualifications

    • Associate's or Bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience in maintenance, logistics, or operations
    • Experience in fleet maintenance, equipment management, or similar field preferred
    • Strong organizational and coordination skills
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
    • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
