Maintenance Custodial Supervisor:
Role: The Maintenance Custodial Supervisor will oversee and direct the day-to-day operations and management of the custodial staff across all facility locations.
The salary range for this position is $53,418.24 to $80,127.36 per year.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities: 20% Assigns personnel to buildings and ensures that all buildings are kept clean and that all maintenance custodial staff are completing duties assigned. Ensures the crew is staffed to the proper levels. Ensures Departmental Safety Rules and guidelines are being followed. 15% Orders all supplies and ensures they are all fully stocked. Assist with creating annual custodial budget and maintain budget throughout fiscal year. 15% Performs weekly walkthroughs and documents any issues. 15% Coordinates schedules, time off, personnel, for campus events and approves time cards. 10% Trains crew on proper chemical usage, cleaners, and equipment. 10% Gives feedback on basic cleaning techniques. Assists employees to ensure that building are cleaned as well as possible. 5% Holds daily meeting with crew. Makes daily assignments as needed. 5% Disciplines employees as needed. 5% Performs other duties as assigned.

Ability to maintain the security and integrity of critical infrastructure. This includes being able to demonstrate a lack of criminal history or continuous ties to a foreign adversary, as defined by the U.S. Department of Commerce. This is a minimum qualification for all positions that research, work on, or have access to critical infrastructure, such as communications systems, computer networks, and cybersecurity systems.
This position requires flexible hours, including occasional outside regular working times and on-call availability.
Knowledge and Skills:
Experience: Two years to five years of similar or related experience.
Education: A high school education or GED.
Interpersonal Skills: Courtesy, tact, and diplomacy are essential elements of the job. Work involves much personal contact with others inside and/or outside the college for purposes of giving or obtaining information, building relationships, or soliciting cooperation.
Other Skills: Two years custodial or related experience desired. Knowledge of how to operate custodial equipment, custodial chemicals, and of safety practices related to custodial work. Excellent oral and interpersonal communication skills are necessary. Occasional overtime and/or weekend hours may be requested.
Physical Requirements: The work requires minor physical exertion such as short periods of standing, walking over rough uneven surfaces, some recurring bending, crouching, stooping, stretching, reaching, or similar activities. Job may require recurring lifting of lightweight objects with infrequent bending or stooping alternating with the lighter activities. Job requires minimal agility and dexterity.
Work Environment: Occasional exposure to objectionable conditions or variations such as those found in variable weather conditions or light industrial setting.
