What You’ll Do
As a Maintenance Electrician, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring manufacturing equipment runs reliably and safely. You’ll diagnose, repair, install, and maintain electrical systems and machinery to minimize downtime and support continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical systems and industrial machinery
Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to maximize uptime
Use the CMMS to document work, review maintenance data, and run reports
Support capital projects, equipment installations, and plant expansions
Maintain compliance with 6S and all plant safety standards
Provide leadership or supervisory backup as needed
Work occasional weekends or alternate shifts as plant needs require
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Ability to diagnose and repair electrical systems and components
Skilled with electrical test devices (ohmmeters, voltmeters, meggers, oscilloscopes, etc.)
Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
Experience installing wiring, fixtures, and equipment to electrical code
Ability to identify hazards or defects and recommend corrective action
Comfortable working from ladders, scaffolds, or elevated platforms
Strong communication skills and ability to relay equipment issues to management
Education & Experience
Minimum 5 years of industrial electrical experience required
Associate degree in Electrical Technology or Instrumentation Technology preferred
Must pass a general electrical aptitude test
