  • Responsibilities

    Job Summary:

    The Maintenance & Facilities Technician is responsible for ensuring all company facilities, equipment, and support systems are safe, functional, and operating efficiently. This role maintains the grounds and facilities with lawn care and all buildings with cleanup, repairs, painting and any other duties assigned to maintain cleanliness function ability. This role supports daily towing and business operations by maintaining the yard, shop, office, and fleet support infrastructure. The position requires hands-on abilities, attention to safety and detail, and the ability to respond quickly to operational needs.

    Skills & Abilities:

    · Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

    · Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

    · Physically capable of lifting 50+ lbs and working outdoors in various conditions

    · Time management and organizational skills

    · Basic computer skills for tracking maintenance and inventory

    Work Environment:

    · Outdoor and indoor work in towing yards, shops, and office facilities

    · Exposure to weather conditions, vehicle fluids, and heavy equipment

    · May require evenings, weekends, and on-call availability

    Performance Expectations:

    · Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient working environment

    · Minimize downtime of facilities and equipment

    · Support operational readiness of towing fleet and yard

    Qualifications:

    · High school diploma or GED required

    · 2+ years of maintenance, facilities, or mechanical experience preferred

    · Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems

    · Experience working in towing, automotive, or industrial environments is a plus

    · Valid driver’s license (CDL preferred but not required)
