Our client is seeking a hands-on
, career-minded * Maintenance Mechanic Foreman * to lead and coordinate maintenance operations within a grain-based manufacturing facility. This role will involve supervising projects, managing multi-shift maintenance schedules, and working alongside the mechanical team to troubleshoot, repair, and improve plant equipment. The ideal candidate will be safety-focused, highly organized, and capable of enhancing plant efficiency through preventative and predictive maintenance strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and execute plant maintenance and repair projects
Plan and manage daily maintenance activities across multiple shifts
Assist with hands-on mechanical repairs and equipment installation
Ensure safety and compliance with EH&S and regulatory guidelines
Collaborate with vendors and contractors for parts, quotes, and project execution
Maintain parts inventory and manage critical spares
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems (up to 480V)
Perform fabrication, welding, and cutting as needed
Read and interpret blueprints and schematics
Operate equipment such as forklifts, skid loaders, and other shop machinery
Improve and maintain preventative maintenance programs
Work Schedule:
Primarily Monday to Friday day shift
Must be available for off-shift or weekend work as needed
On-call availability for emergency repairs

Required Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED; technical training preferred
Minimum of 5 years of hands-on maintenance experience in an industrial setting
Reliable transportation and availability for on-call work
Valid driver's license with a clean record
Ability to work in physically demanding environments (lifting, bending, climbing, confined spaces, etc.)
Preferred Experience:
Preventative and Reactive Maintenance: 5 years
Troubleshooting (mechanical/electrical): 5 years
Welding and Fabrication: 3 years
Electrical Diagnosis and Repair: 3 years
Project Management: 2 years
Maintenance Planning and Scheduling: 2 years
