About the Role:

MARTEX BUILDERS INC is looking for a dependable and hardworking Maintenance/Grounds Keeper to join our staff in Baltimore, MD! In this hands-on position, you'll play a vital part in keeping our properties safe, clean, and well-maintained. If you take pride in your work and enjoy working outdoors and also indoors, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

Perform routine property maintenance including cleaning grounds daily, landscaping, trimming, and seasonal upkeep

Conduct general building repairs such as painting, patching, and minor carpentry

Inspect grounds, equipment, and facilities to identify and address maintenance needs

Daily Remove debris, snow, and waste to maintain clean and safe property conditions

Operate and maintain landscaping equipment including blowers, and trimmers

Respond to maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner

Ensure compliance with safety standards and property upkeep guidelines

Requirements:

Prior experience in grounds keeping, property maintenance, or a related field preferred

Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and general repair techniques is a plus

Ability to operate landscaping tools and maintenance equipment safely

Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Will be required to climb to flat roof with ladders.

Physical ability to perform outdoor labor in various weather conditions;

Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to property care

Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently with minimal supervision

Valid driver's license preferred
