Job Title: Maintenance/Handy Person – Restaurant’s & Airbnb Property Location: Who's on Third, Who’s On Layton, Oak Barrel, Third St. Properties – Milwaukee, WI Job Type: Part-Time/Independent Contractor/Flexible Hours

Job Summary:

We’re looking for a reliable and experienced Handy Person to help maintain our locally owned restaurants and a small group of Airbnb rental units. If you have a knack for fixing things, work well independently, and take pride in keeping spaces in top shape, we’d love to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

Perform minor repairs in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and drywall

Routine upkeep (changing air filters, light bulbs, batteries, etc.)

Respond to urgent maintenance issues as they arise

Ensure all restaurants and Airbnb spaces are safe and guest-ready

Assemble furniture and install small appliances when needed

Keep tools and supplies organized and request restocks as necessary

Requirements:

Proven experience as a handyman or maintenance technician

Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, woodworking, painting, staining and general repairs

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical tasks

Self-starter with good communication and time management skills

Flexible schedule, including occasional nights/weekends if needed

Nice to Have:

Experience working with restaurants or vacation rentals

Trade certifications or contractor’s license (a plus, not required)
