    Position Summary

    This position is responsible for assisting the Maintenance Supervisor with general maintenance and repair of the facilities with a focus on irrigation, plumbing and electrical, with duties to be further assigned as pressure washing, painting water of plants and trash removal.

    This position reports to and works under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor.

    Experience, Education, and Skills

    High school diploma or equivalent required with prior knowledge or experience in general maintenance and repair with some mechanical or technical knowledge, including general safety and personal protective equipment. Exhibit a friendly, professional image, with an emphasis on customer service, communication and follow-through on tasks.

    Position Functions and Duties

    · Maintain and repair irrigation controllers, valves and electronic solenoids

    · Maintain and build irrigation zones maps based on zone layout.

    · Perform irrigation pipe repairs as needed for main and zone lines

    · Maintain and repair common area electrical: street, ground wall lighting, light switches ceiling fans etc.

    · Pressure Washing and Painting

    · Storm Drain Maintenance

    · Maintain and repair street and monument signs as needed

    · Remove noticeable litter and debris from common areas

    · Immediately inform Maintenace Supervisor of any maintenance or safety issues.

    · Respond to after-hour emergency calls as scheduled.

    · Assist other personnel as needed

    · Keep all working areas clean and debris free

    · Other duties as assigned

    Wyndemere Homeowners Association retains the right to modify, revise, or eliminate cetrain duties as deemed appropriate with or without prior notice.

    Typical Physical and Mental Demands

    Requires constant (67-100%) mobility around the property. Requires frequent (64-96%) sitting, bending, reaching, and stooping to investigate maintenance issues. Requires ability to communicate clearly. Must possess the ability to handle emergency maintenance and irrigation situations. Must possess ability and stamina to work long hours, either in or outdoors. Requires ability to work outdoors for extended periods of time.

    Typical Working Conditions

    Work is performed primarily outdoors with a potential for exposure to high heat/humidity or cold temperatures.

    Special Equipment

    Must possess a valid driver's license and ability to drive a manual transmission. Knowledge of irrigation systems , and equipment used for general maintenance and repairs.

    Training Provided

    Toro and Hunter irrigation training available.
