  • Responsibilities

    American Berry Company is seeking a Maintenance Manager who wants to make a difference and contribute in a highly visible way. This person should be organized and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Food manufacturing experience is required as well as the ability to mentor and direct a team that ensures our production facility keeps running. This person will also need to develop strong relationships with outside vendors and contractors. Cranberry manufacturing experience is a huge plus, but if you are someone that can tackle projects and develop a strong team focused on safety, quality, and results, then please apply now. Responsibilities: • React to emergencies that happen before, during, and after your regular work shifts • Manage all aspects of maintenance including repairs, preventative maintenance, and facility management. • Develop and coach staff to achieve results and keep the plant running smoothly. • Work with vendors to develop positive relationships and project results. • Work with the Chief Operating Officer on capital improvements and planning. • Purchase parts and ensure proper inventory. • Troubleshoot issues and work with technicians to solve problems. • Help create/foster a positive culture focused on accountability, team development, responsiveness, and support. • Be an active member of the leadership team, coming up with ideas and helping to execute on strategic plans. • Work closely with the Plant Manager and Chief Operating Officer to improve overall plant productivity and efficiency. • Ensure adherence to OSHA guideline and internal safety protocols. Qualifications: • Driver’s license and clean driving record is mandatory • Stellar communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills are needed • The ability to lift and carry 50 lbs. or more is required • 5 years maintenance experience is a must in a food manufacturing environment, and cranberry manufacturing experience a huge plus • Able to use and or implement maintenance software a must • Strong understanding of OSHA guidelines and safety protocols a must Compensation: $85,000 - $100,000 yearly
