Maintenance Manager – West Texas Region
About the Company
A leading renewable fuels producer in the West Texas region is seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to oversee maintenance and reliability operations at a high-performing ethanol production facility. The plant plays a vital role in producing sustainable energy while supporting local agriculture and driving operational excellence.
Position Overview
The Maintenance Manager will lead all aspects of plant maintenance—mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation systems—to ensure maximum uptime, reliability, and safety. This hands-on leadership role focuses on developing a proactive maintenance culture, driving continuous improvement, and building a skilled, safety-first team.
Key Responsibilities
Direct all plant maintenance activities across mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation systems.
Implement and manage a reliability-centered, preventative maintenance program using CMMS tools.
Drive equipment reliability, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Supervise and develop maintenance staff through training, mentorship, and cross-functional development.
Collaborate with operations to schedule maintenance outages and plant upgrades.
Manage contractors, vendors, and capital project execution.
Track maintenance KPIs and use data to enhance performance and reliability.
Ensure all maintenance activities meet safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
Oversee maintenance budgets, spare parts inventory, and capital planning.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering preferred (or equivalent technical experience).
5–10 years of maintenance leadership in ethanol, biofuels, chemical, or process manufacturing.
Proven experience developing preventative and predictive maintenance programs.
Proficiency with CMMS systems (Mapcon or similar).
Strong knowledge of rotating equipment, pumps, conveyors, and process systems.
Demonstrated leadership with a focus on team development, communication, and problem-solving.

Competitive base salary: $125,000+ (commensurate with experience)
