    Job Summary

    We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to join our team! As a Maintenance manager, you will be directly supporting the maintenance department in its daily operations. This includes coordinating repairs and preventive maintenance, delegating tasks to ensure on-time completion, managing maintenance staff, handling work orders, ensuring tenant satisfaction, controlling budgets, and complying with safety standards. The ideal candidate has experience managing a team and excellent communication skills.

    Responsibilities

    Assigning tasks, creating schedules, and ensuring staff members are following safety and company standards.

    Overseeing both routine upkeep and emergency repairs.

    Ensuring maintenance requests are updated and completed on time.

    Controlling costs, managing expenses for supplies and repairs, and working with management on budget planning.

    Requesting and maintaining stock of necessary materials and parts.

    Supervising external vendors to ensure their work meets standards.

    Maintaining logs for scheduled maintenance, equipment maintenance, and service reports.

    Ensuring that all work is performed in compliance with state, federal, and company safety regulations.

    Qualifications

    Strong understanding of building systems, general repairs, and preventive maintenance.

    The ability to perform maintenance operations

    Must be able to address issues efficiently and react to emergencies.

    Time management and organizational skills are needed to handle schedules, tasks, and budgets.

    Ability to lead a team and communicate effectively with staff, tenants, and property managers.

    Excellent attention to detail

    Familiarity with computer programs, such as the Microsoft Office suite, management software, or a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
