Maintenance Manager - Plastics Manufacturer - Base Salary to 110k/year - Seattle, WA

• Our client is a leading plastics manufacturer mainly servicing the food distribution/processing, medical, and industrial industries.
  
• The team is seeking a Maintenance Manager. This person will oversee all maintenance personnel while managing upkeep of all equipment and facilities to ensure efficient and reliable production.

Responsibilities:

• Lead maintenance team with priority of following best safety practices
  
• Understanding plant needs and plan for maintenance work to ensure efficient plant operations
  
• Work to improve machine uptime metrics
  
• Supervise & communicate with vendors and contractors as needed
  
• Assistance with new equipment installations
  
• Spearhead efforts to improve costs, quality, and production rates
  
• Continuous improvement of equipment reliability through preventative and predictive maintenance methods

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma; Higher education preferred
  
• 5 years in management role supervising employees across numerous shifts
  
• 5 years working in maintenance setting with robust electrical and mechanical background
  
• Background in high production manufacturing
  
• Robust electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic background
  
• Plus for experience in the plastics industry
  
• Hands-on troubleshooting abilities
  
• Capital project management
  
• Familiarity with AutoCAD/SolidWorks
  
• Ability to work weekends as needed

Compensation:

• Our client is offering a base salary up to 110k/year along with a comprehensive benefits packaging including medical insurance, retirement, and PTO.
