Maintenance Manager
This hands-on leadership role is responsible for overseeing all maintenance operations across mobile equipment, stationary systems, utilities, planning, and procurement. This position drives safety, reliability, team development, and continuous improvement across a multi-shift operation.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead and develop a multi-disciplinary maintenance team, including mechanics, electricians, laborers, and planners, across multiple shifts.
• Oversee preventive, predictive, and routine maintenance programs to ensure high equipment reliability.
• Champion safety practices, enforce compliance standards, and maintain a proactive safety culture.
• Manage maintenance planning, scheduling, and project execution for all plant equipment and infrastructure.
• Monitor budgets, control costs, and identify opportunities for efficiency and improvement.
• Oversee spare parts purchasing and inventory levels, including minimum and maximum stock requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement, problem resolution, and long-term maintenance strategies.
• Serve as the escalation point for off-shift emergencies as needed.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering is preferred, although equivalent experience will be considered.
• 8+ years in maintenance or reliability, with at least 7 years in a leadership role.
• Experience in heavy industrial, mining, or similar environments is highly preferred.
• Strong background with CMMS systems and modern maintenance best practices.
• Proven success leading teams, managing projects, and improving equipment uptime.
