Are you a skilled mechanic with experience in diagnosing and repairing compacting systems? Our client is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic (Compactor Equipment) to join their team and help maintain the reliability and efficiency of compactor systems. Perform maintenance and repairs on compactor systems of all makes, following maintenance and repair orders.
Diagnose and resolve electrical , hydraulic , and mechanical issues in compacting systems.
Inspect, test, and record findings to ensure necessary repairs are completed accurately.
Provide detailed labor and time estimates for required repairs.
Maintain up-to-date documentation for all repairs and ensure the integrity of the Preventive Maintenance (PM) program.
Contribute to a safe, productive, and positive work environment.
Experience working with compacting systems (trash compaction Rollers, road compactor, Garbage, waste compactors, Plate compactors) is required.
Proven ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical , hydraulic , and mechanical systems.
Welding and fabrication experience is required.
Strong planning, organizational, and time management skills.
Demonstrated problem-solving skills with a focus on efficient solutions.
Team-oriented and flexible, with a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
Must hold a valid driver's license; CDL and DOT physical card are highly preferred.
Availability to work a flexible schedule, including potential overtime or weekend hours.
