We are a local, family-owned, OTC pharmaceutical manufacturing company with a reputation for retaining employees because we treat them like family. We are seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to support the performance and reliability of our production and facility equipment through preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs. This role plays a key part in minimizing downtime, ensuring safety and compliance, and keeping our operations running smoothly.

    Monday - Friday 7:00 am to 3:30 pm

    Responsibilities:

    • Perform routine preventive maintenance and emergency repairs on packaging and blending equipment
    • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues
    • Repair and rebuild equipment components to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime
    • Assess machinery performance and identify root causes of equipment failures
    • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the maintenance shop and tools
    • Support manufacturing with equipment changeovers
    • Execute preventive maintenance tasks on production and facility equipment to support efficiency and safety
    • Collaborate with production and cross-functional teams to improve equipment reliability and performance
    • Maintain records of repairs, inspections, and equipment performance
    • Monitor and manage spare parts inventory to ensure the availability of critical components
    • Ensure compliance with GMP, OSHA, FDA, and company safety regulations
    • Maintain a safe work environment and adhere to all standard operating procedures
    • Assist with special projects and manufacturing initiatives as needed

    Qualifications:

    • 3+ years of experience in industrial maintenance, preferably in a manufacturing or packaging environment
    • Strong mechanical aptitude with working knowledge of electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
    • Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair a wide range of equipment issues
    • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and equipment drawings
    • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality
    • Experience working in a GMP-regulated or pharmaceutical manufacturing environment
