    Job Summary:

    A hotel maintenance technician is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and upkeep of a hotel's physical structure, equipment, and grounds. This involves a variety of tasks, including preventative maintenance, repairs, and responding to guest requests and emergencies. Technicians work to maintain guest rooms, common areas, and exterior spaces, ensuring a safe, clean, and functional environment for guests and staff. Must be available weekends.

    Essential Job Functions:

    Maintain hotel public areas and guestrooms through proper procedures.

    Stocks and/or maintains public areas with specific products in required quantities.

    Assist Front Desk with any guest requests and clean-ups.

    Maintain contact with front Desk Agents.

    Performs other tasks as assigned by the Executive Housekeeper (i.e., stripping rooms, vacuuming rooms-corridors, elevators, cleaning public or employee restrooms, employee breakroom, washing windows, working in laundry, checking rooms, or training of other associates, etc.).

    Other Duties:

    · Maintain and clean property and patio appearance

    · Light maintenance duties (ie., changing light bulbs, shampoo carpet and furniture, wash shuttle van, PM guestrooms, painting, setting up meeting room chairs-tables, other light maintenance duties).

    Must meet productivity standards; Completes work in timely manner.

    Safety and Security - Observe safety and security procedures

    Reports potentially unsafe conditions

    Uses equipment and materials properly.

    Maintains security for guests and property by keeping guest room doors, storage closets, meeting rooms, and non-guest doors locked at all times, reporting any suspicious activity by guests or others, properly labeling lost and found articles and turning them in, and observing all other security and safety regulations.
