  • Responsibilities

    Job Responsibilities

    • Perform required maintenance and repair on all machinery and equipment as well as building structure
    • Repair, maintain, and troubleshoot equipment and perform planned maintenance of all mechanical aspects of plant, office, machinery and equipment
    • Able to travel 0 - 15% of the time for parts purchasing and equipment repair needs
    • Install new equipment as needed, ensuring it is production ready and meets all safety guidelines
    • Actively work and participate on safety and improvement projects
    • Be able to provide after-hours support and guidance to the maintenance and engineering teams
    • Perform special assignments and projects as assigned
    • Actively participate in providing a safe and harmonious working environment for all employees
    • Strong electrical experience, possessing knowledge of:
    • Wiring schematics, electrical inspection procedures, electrician tools, safety codes and regulations
    • Demonstrates expertise in wiring schematics to drive innovation in electrical systems and compliance
    • Adheres to electrical safety practices to ensure compliance with manufacturing requirements
    • Inspects critical equipment to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and designs
    • Installs, maintains, and repairs electrical wiring and lighting, maintains and repairs electrical heating and ventilation equipment, troubleshoots control circuits
    • Oversees and carries out all activities and tasks associated with electrician services; ensures compliance with applicable safety codes

    Required Qualifications:

    • 5 years of experience in the area of Operations/Facilities/Maintenance
    • High School Diploma
    • 3 years of hands-on leadership/supervision of direct reports. This is a Working Leadership role - a strong shop floor presence is a must.
    • Solid background in industrial mechanical/electrical maintenance and troubleshooting
    • Must be a US Person (Citizen or Green Card holder)

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate up, down, and across the business
    • Strong computer skills
    • Able to read blue prints
    • Proven structured Problem Solving experience
    • Fluent in English language, both written and spoken
    • Experience working with a Lean Operating Model / Production System
    • Lean or Six Sigma certification by a reputable certifying body or benchmark company
    • Equipment/building maintenance experience in the Aerospace industry
