Archer Meat Snacks, the #1 jerky brand in the Natural and Specialty Channel, is seeking a MRO Buyer to join our Purchasing team. This role is a great opportunity for someone early in their procurement career who is eager to build experience in sourcing, vendor management, and supply chain operations within a high-growth food manufacturing environment.

Reporting to the Sr. Maintenance Manager, you will play a key role in supporting Archer's maintenance operations by managing the procurement of all Maintenance, Repair, and Operations (MRO) materials and parts. You'll oversee the maintenance of the storeroom, ensuring inventory accuracy, timely replenishment, and cost-effective purchasing decisions. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and passionate about optimizing supply chain processes that directly impact equipment reliability and plant uptime.

What You'll Own & Impact:

• Manage all day-to-day purchasing activities for maintenance-related materials, spare parts, tools, and services.

• Oversee the maintenance storeroom, including receiving, issuing, and stocking of MRO parts and supplies.

• Maintain accurate inventory levels, ensuring critical spares are available and properly cataloged.

• Coordinate with Maintenance Technicians and Supervisors to forecast and fulfill material needs.

• Create and process purchase orders, track deliveries, and resolve discrepancies with vendors or receiving.

• Partner with the Sr. Maintenance Manager to identify preferred suppliers and negotiate pricing or contracts.

• Conduct RFPs and cost analyses to identify savings and efficiency opportunities.

• Maintain vendor relationships, perform supplier evaluations, and support continuous improvement in supplier performance.

• Collaborate with Finance and Operations to ensure accurate accounting and system data within NetSuite.

• Monitor storeroom organization, labeling, and cleanliness to meet safety and audit standards.

• Manage parts returns, warranty claims, and repairable asset tracking.

• Support implementation of a preventive maintenance materials management strategy.

• Assist with system updates, cycle counts, and reporting to maintain inventory integrity across sites.

What Sets You Apart:

• 2+ years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or inventory management (MRO or maintenance environment preferred).
• Strong understanding of maintenance parts, tools, and equipment used in manufacturing or industrial settings.
• Experience managing a storeroom or warehouse inventory system.
• Solid Excel and Microsoft 365 skills (formulas, reporting, pivot tables a plus)
• Proficiency in ERP systems such as NetSuite (or similar).
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and vendor negotiation skills.
• Ability to collaborate with maintenance, operations, and finance teams in a fast-paced environment.
• High School diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred

Location & Schedule:
This role is based at our Vernon, CA headquarters and requires majority on-site presence to support operations.
