Tifereth Israel Synagogue of San Diego is seeking a reliable and responsible Maintenance Staff for a part-time position focused on preschool cleaning and upkeep. This role helps ensure our preschool and other common areas are clean, safe, and well-maintained for children, families, and staff.

Schedule • Primarily evening shifts (2:00 PM – 7:00 PM) • Approximately 23–28 hours per week • Flexible schedule • Occasional Saturdays may be required

Responsibilities • Take out trash and dispose of waste properly • Vacuum and mop classrooms and common areas • Mop floors and maintain cleanliness • Clean and sanitize restrooms • Ensure preschool areas are clean, safe, and well-maintained • Other tasks as assigned

Compensation & Benefits • Starting at $20 per hour • Paid Federal Holidays • Sick Pay

Requirements • Reliability and strong work ethic • Ability to work independently • Attention to detail • Prior cleaning experience is a plus • Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds
