Maintenance Supervisor (Working Supervisor) — Commercial Building Services, DMV Multifamily • Data Centers • Commercial Partners

About us We’re a fast-growing maintenance and exterior cleaning company serving the DC–Maryland–Virginia region. We partner with multi-unit apartment communities, data centers, and commercial contractors to deliver safe, reliable, and efficient work.

Role snapshot — lead by example This is a hands-on supervisor role. You’ll be on the job with the crew—doing the work—while also handling the extra leadership duties that keep projects on time and clients happy. Think working lead: roughly 70% in the field tools-on, 30% supervising/coordination (mix varies by site).

    What you’ll do (hands-on + leadership)

Roll up your sleeves alongside the team to complete scopes, including:

Safety & preventive maintenance: dryer vent cleaning, fireplace cleaning, smoke detector inspection/replacement, HVAC coil & drain line cleaning.

Exterior restoration: building wash/soft-wash, window washing, gutter cleaning, TPO roof cleaning.

Set the pace and standard for quality, safety, and productivity; model correct procedures and PPE use.

Run daily huddles, assign tasks, track progress, and hit schedule deadlines.

Be the client point on site: greet, update, and close out with brief walk-throughs.

Document work with before/after photos and clean job logs; flag risks early.

Coach technicians: quick on-the-spot training, feedback, and cross-skill development.

Enforce OSHA basics (ladders, lifts, fall protection, LOTO) and site rules.

    You’ll thrive here if you…

Like leading from the front and earning respect by doing the work well.

Can organize a crew, adapt to changing conditions, and still finish on time.

Communicate clearly with clients and stay calm under pressure.

    Requirements

3+ years in building maintenance, restoration, Power tools, HVAC or related field roles with some crew lead experience.

Comfortable with ladders, lifts, roof work, and outdoor conditions; lift 50+ lbs.

    Valid driver’s license/clean record.

Nice to have: experience with small dryer wall repairs, work-order/PM platforms (Yardi/RealPage/OpsTechnology) and photo documentation apps.
