Our busy hotel is seeking an energetic, customer-oriented maintenance engineer to ensure that all of our visitors have an excellent experience at our property. You'll be in charge of the building's maintenance and preventative programs daily to ensure people's enjoyment, health, and safety. Responsibilities: • Operate various tools like wrenches, hammers, screwdrivers, drills, and other maintenance equipment • Complete all work orders and fix maintenance problems promptly • Adhere to all engineering safety norms and procedures • Manage the hotel's machinery and preventive maintenance procedures • Stay in constant contact with co-workers, managers, and other departments Qualifications: • You should have the ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. • You will need 2-4 years of experience in a maintenance role • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills are necessary • A high school diploma or equivalent GED is required • Experience with facilities management software is preferred Compensation: $21 - $24 hourly
