Tesoro Group is seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join one of our long-term Clients team at (1) of their properties in Plymouth, MN (55411). The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years’ experience in residential maintenance (2 years in a lead or management position) with plumbing, electrical and HVAC, have experience with unit turns, have knowledge of basic maintenance, be self-motivated, be able to organize multiple tasks throughout the day and is self-sufficient. Boilers experience is required - certifications/ability to obtain a license within 60 days of employment required. This role is contract to hire (90 days before conversion) or can go direct hire with the right candidate.

This role will be working with (1) community that was built in 1974 and has 3 stories with 280 affordable housing units.

Salary: $28-$30/hour DOQ. This role is contracted to hire (90 days before conversion) or can go direct hire with the right candidate.

Schedule: Monday – Friday standard daytime hours - 8am - 5pm.

Responsibilities and Job Duties:

• Provide residents with exceptional customer service and foster good resident relations
• Be a valuable part of an effective on-site team
• Maintain daily service request system and complete service requests
• Perform follow up calls on service requests as necessary
• Maintain preventive maintenance schedule and complete preventive maintenance
• Maintain physical appearance of the community
• Work after-hours emergency on-call rotation, as scheduled
• Perform apartment turnover duties
• Repair and replace appliances
• Maintain MSDS and follow all safety procedures
• Maintain maintenance inventory
• Maintain safe and organized maintenance shop, storage, and mechanical rooms
• Maintain lock out/tag out station of keys
• Maintain apartment history cards, lighting, and snow logs
• Work with contractors on snow removal, lawn care, etc.
• Monitor HVAC equipment
• Maintain pools if applicable both at your property or in on call POD
• Shovel/sweep using broom, shovel snow
• Work in extremes of climate/temperature (-20 to 110 degrees), rain, snow
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Experience:

• 4 years’ experience in residential maintenance and at least 2 years in a lead or management position.
• Boilers experience is required - certifications/ability to obtain a license within 60 days of employment required.
• Experience in unit turns.
• Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation as this role will eventually have on-call.
• Be able to pass a Kari Koskinen background check.
