  • Responsibilities

    The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for the overall upkeep and reliability of our facility and its systems. This role serves as a bridge between senior management and the technical staff, ensuring that all maintenance activities are performed safely, efficiently, and within budget. You will be the primary driver of the preventive maintenance program, turning inspections into actionable work orders/estimates for your crew. Responsibilities: • Work Generation & Scheduling: Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues. Generate and prioritize work orders within the CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) and create weekly schedules for the 5-person crew. • Team Leadership : Recruit, train, and mentor technicians. Conduct performance reviews, manage shift schedules, and foster a culture of safety and accountability. • Estimating : Meet with the customer to gain insight into their needs. Create, draft, and price detailed estimates. • Technical Oversight : Oversee the repair and maintenance of critical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical. Assist with complex troubleshooting that technicians cannot resolve independently. • Safety & Compliance: Ensure the team adheres to OSHA standards , lockout/tagout procedures, and local building codes. Conduct regular safety meetings and inspections. • Vendor & Budget Management: Coordinate with third-party contractors for specialized repairs. Monitor the maintenance budget, track expenses, and manage the inventory of spare parts and supplies. Qualifications: Required QualificationsExperience : Minimum of 5 years in general maintenance, with at least 2 years in a lead or supervisory capacity. • Education : High school diploma or GED required; vocational training or an associate's degree in a technical field (e.g., HVAC, Electrical) is preferred. • Technical Skills : Advanced knowledge of building automation, mechanical systems, and diagnostic tools. Proficiency with MS Office and maintenance software. • Certifications: OSHA 10/30 and specific trade licenses (e.g., EPA 608 for HVAC) are highly desirable. Physical Requirements • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and traverse large facility areas daily. • Willingness to work in various environments, including confined spaces or inclement weather when necessary. Compensation: $70,000 - $100,000 yearly
