Maintenance Tech – Genesis Health Clubs (Tri-State Athletic Club | Evansville, IN)

Base Salary: $55,000+ per year (Higher compensation available for commercial HVAC certifications and advanced mechanical experience) Full-Time | Single Facility Oversight

Lead Operations at One of Evansville’s Premier Athletic Clubs

Genesis Health Clubs is seeking a highly skilled, hands-on Maintenance Director to oversee all facility maintenance operations at our Tri-State Athletic Club in Evansville, IN.

This is a leadership role with full ownership of the facility’s mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and structural systems. While there is no dedicated maintenance team to manage, you will oversee and coordinate cleaning staff while personally executing and managing maintenance tasks across the club.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee all daily maintenance operations for the Tri-State Athletic Club

Perform and manage preventative maintenance across the facility

Maintain and troubleshoot commercial HVAC systems (required)

Handle plumbing, electrical, and mechanical repairs

Conduct regular inspections to ensure safety and operational excellence

Respond quickly to maintenance tickets and emergency repairs

Oversee and coordinate facility cleaning staff to ensure cleanliness standards are met

Maintain maintenance logs, repair records, and inventory tracking

Coordinate vendors and outside contractors when necessary

Support capital improvements and facility upgrades

Ensure interior and exterior areas remain clean, safe, and fully operational

What We’re Looking For

Minimum 2+ years of facility maintenance experience

Strong background in commercial HVAC systems (required)

Mechanical aptitude with electrical and plumbing knowledge

Ability to independently prioritize and execute maintenance tasks

Experience coordinating vendors or service contractors

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Flexible availability including weekends and holidays as needed

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand, bend, climb ladders, and lift up to 50 lbs

Comfortable operating tools, ladders, and commercial equipment

Ability to respond promptly to urgent maintenance situations
