    Location: Distribution Center – Reno, NV
    Employment Type: Full-Time
    Pay Rate: $24.50/hour

    Position Overview

    We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician II to support the safe and efficient operation of our distribution center. This role is responsible for maintaining and repairing material handling equipment (MHE), conveyors, rolling stock, automation systems, and facility infrastructure. The ideal candidate will bring proven skills across multiple facets of industrial maintenance and demonstrate the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

    Essential Job Functions

    • Perform maintenance and repair on Raymond stock pickers, stand-up reach riders, sit-down forklifts, pallet jacks, batteries, and charging stations.

    • Maintain and repair conveyor systems, pick carousels, and other automation equipment.

    • Troubleshoot and repair all MHE accurately and efficiently.

    • Complete preventive maintenance per Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) specifications.

    • Use a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to manage work orders and track repair history.

    • Order parts and maintain proper inventory.

    • Inspect, assess, and recommend repairs or replacement of equipment.

    • Maintain battery charging stations and related equipment.

    • Communicate effectively with team members, vendors, and contractors to ensure timely service and support.

    • Frequently lift and move items up to 50 lbs.

    Duties & Responsibilities

    • Troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

    • Perform preventive maintenance on powered industrial equipment, conveyors, shrink-wrap machines, balers, and sortation systems.

    • Maintain repair records and complete accurate documentation for all work performed.

    • Prioritize repair of red-tagged (out-of-service) equipment.

    • Support facility upkeep including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, roofing, painting, and other general maintenance.

    • Adhere to established safety practices and promote a safe working environment.

    • Complete additional special projects as assigned.

    Education & Experience Requirements

    • High school diploma or GED required.

    • 5+ years of technical schooling and/or training in industrial maintenance or a related field.

    • 5+ years of experience in equipment repair and preventive maintenance within distribution, manufacturing, or industrial environments.

    • Hands-on experience repairing Crown and/or Raymond equipment strongly preferred.

    • Experience with PLCs, automation systems, and conveyors highly desired.

    Work Environment

    • Work involves walking, bending, climbing, and lifting up to 50 lbs.

    • Exposure to heat, cold, dirt, dust, fumes, and noise within a warehouse setting.

    • Must follow all safety policies, as position carries a high risk of injury if protocols are not observed.

    Supervision

    • Works independently on most tasks with minimal supervision.

    • May provide functional guidance or training to entry-level technicians.
