Summary
We are currently looking for a 3rd shift Maintenance Technician. The Technician will be responsible for a variety of complex operations and duties in a production environment, including monitoring equipment performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out both preventative (scheduled) and corrective (as-needed) maintenance on a wide range of equipment, including production machinery, packaging lines, and HVAC systems.
- Diagnose and fix mechanical and electrical problems in systems such as fillers, tablet presses, motors, pumps, and control systems.
- Operate within a strict regulatory environment, following GMP, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and safety standards to ensure product quality and safety.
- Accurately record all maintenance activities, equipment data, and parts used.
- Work closely with engineers, quality assurance, and production staff to minimize downtime, improve equipment reliability, and support investigations.
- Uphold high standards of housekeeping and safety in all work areas.
Skills and Qualifications:
- A high school diploma or GED is the minimum, but a technical diploma or associate degree is preferred.
- A minimum of 2–5 years of experience in mechanical or electrical maintenance, preferably within a regulated manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
- Experience with automated equipment, including robotics, pneumatics, and sensors.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and engineering drawings.
- Proficiency with diagnostic tools and a CMMS is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- High level of attention to detail for precise documentation and work.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
