Job Description — Maintenance Technician 1st Shift (Middlebury, IN)
Position Overview
1st Shift Maintenance Technician
This is a strong opportunity for an experienced, well-rounded maintenance technician who wants 1st shift, a 4-day work week, competitive pay, limited overtime, and long-term stability.
- Schedule: Monday–Thursday
- Hours: 5:00 AM–3:30 PM
- Pay: $28–$32/hour
- Open to reviewing compensation for candidates who demonstrate strong performance and skill
Responsibilities
- Machine teardown and rebuild
- Electrical troubleshooting
- Ability to go into an electrical panel and diagnose problems
- Read and interpret electrical schematics
- Basic PLC knowledge is a plus, but not required
Equipment You'll Work With
- Large variety of industrial equipment
- Presses ranging from approximately 30-ton to 400-ton
- Spot welding equipment
- Welder fixturing
- Robotic welding
- Mostly Allen-Bradley controls
- Some Siemens
Qualifications
- 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience
- Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
- High school diploma/GED
