    Title: Maintenance Technician

    Position: Full Time w/ Benefits

    Position and Benefits: We are looking for a full time, day shift, Monday-Friday, Maintenance Technician to join our Akron Team and contribute to the company’s growing expansion and buildout.

    Job Responsibilities:

    Help perform daily maintenance and repair of processing equipment in the chemical and alloy divisions.

    Maintain and improve on a preventative maintenance program around critical processing equipment and machinery.

    Install or repair facility plumbing, electrical, HVAC, airlines, or new processing equipment.

    Ability to autonomously identify, propose, and implement short- and long-term repairs as well as continuous improvement strategies and ideas.

    Proactively maintain and safe and clean work environment.

    Assist periodically in the day-to-day production in the plant.

    Help build out new production rooms and processing lines as the company continues to grow.

    Requirements:

    Maintenance and Electrical aptitude and ability to build/ troubleshoot processing equipment from small benchtop trial units to larger processing equipment.

    Ability to perform heavy lifting as needed with reasonable accommodation.

    Clean driving record, experience transporting materials.

    Ability to safely operate a forklift and scissor lift.

    Effective written and oral communication in English.

    A desire to learn/expand knowledgebase, collaborate effectively across multiple levels, and bring a positive and proactive attitude to the team.

    Special Considerations:

    Welding/ fabrication experience. Electrical/controls, DC systems, 3-phase and troubleshooting.

    Basic chemical processing knowledge.

    Root Cause Analysis experience

    HVAC, Electrical, Mechanics, Lean/Six Sigma, Welding Certifications
