As a Repair Technician at Abaris Real Estate Management Inc., you will be responsible for performing a wide range of repair, maintenance, and installation tasks across a portfolio of properties we and other organizations manage. Your versatility and technical skills will ensure our properties remain in excellent condition, safe, and attractive for residents and clients. Positions available in Ijamsville, MD, Rockville, MD, and Tysons Corner, VA Responsibilities: • Perform general repairs and maintenance tasks, including carpentry, painting, plumbing, electrical, drywall, flooring, and HVAC work. • Install and repair fixtures such as doors, windows, shelves, lighting, and appliances. • Conduct property inspections upon request to identify and address maintenance needs. • Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies. • Collaborate with property managers, boards, and contractors to coordinate repairs and improvements. • Ensure all work complies with safety standards and company policies. • Document and maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used. • Provide recommendations for preventative maintenance and property improvements if noted. Qualifications: • Proven experience as a handyman, maintenance technician, or in a similar role. • Strong knowledge of general repair techniques and building systems. • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently. • Skilled in the use of hand and power tools. • Excellent communication and customer service skills. • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks. • Physical ability to lift, climb, and perform manual labor as required. • Valid driver’s license. Compensation: $50,000 - $57,000 yearly
