KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Review and complete assigned work orders in a timely manner, performing maintenance and repairs as required.
Strictly adhere to Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures and ensure all maintenance team members do the same.
Inspect, test, and operate machinery or equipment to identify malfunctions or mechanical issues.
Disassemble machines or equipment to access and replace defective components, using appropriate tools such as hoists, cranes, hand tools, or power tools.
Conduct routine preventative maintenance tasks, including inspecting belts, drives, motors, checking fluid levels, and replacing filters.
Diagnose and resolve mechanical problems using technical documentation such as blueprints, repair manuals, or parts catalogs.
Repair machines, equipment, or structures using various hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring or electronic testing devices.
Maintain open and consistent communication with Plant Management regarding any maintenance concerns or issues.
Complete daily maintenance logs detailing all repairs and services performed during the shift.
Assist with equipment setup and teardown at the beginning and end of shifts.
Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and company policies, procedures, and regulations.
Support and uphold all safety, food quality, and sanitation protocols.
