The Maintenance Technician is primarily responsible for maintaining common areas, meeting spaces, restaurants, bar, sauna, fitness center, pool area, and hotel guestroom preventative maintenance. Additionally, the technician assists with the repairs and maintenance of hotel equipment, including mechanical and electrical equipment such as pumps and motors. Responsibilities: • Ensure the safety and cleanliness of public spaces through daily inspections. • Perform routine maintenance tasks for amenities like pools, fitness areas, and meeting spaces. • Address repair needs in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and landscaping. • Conduct regular upkeep of guest rooms, public areas, and mechanical systems to ensure smooth operations. • Address maintenance requests from guests promptly and with excellent service. Qualifications: • Knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC, and general repairs. • Proficiency with tools and equipment, as well as basic computer skills (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Outlook). • Physical ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds as needed. • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. • Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays. • Knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC, and general repairs is preferred • Experience using hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment safely • Experience with preventive maintenance programs • Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces Compensation: $23 - $24 hourly
