The Maintenance Technician is primarily responsible for maintaining common areas, meeting spaces, restaurants, bar, sauna, fitness center, pool area, and hotel guestroom preventative maintenance. Additionally, the technician assists with the repairs and maintenance of hotel equipment, including mechanical and electrical equipment such as pumps and motors. Responsibilities: • Assist with pool, sauna, and fitness center maintenance, ensuring compliance with safety regulations. • Maintain mechanical areas and tools in a clean and orderly condition. • Conduct regular upkeep of guest rooms, public areas, and mechanical systems to ensure smooth operations. • Troubleshoot and repair building systems, including plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and general carpentry. • Inspect public areas daily to ensure cleanliness, safety, and functionality. Qualifications: • Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays. • Proficiency with tools and equipment, as well as basic computer skills (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Outlook). • Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC, and general repairs. • Reasonable accommodations can be made for individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the job. • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
