Job Summary

We’re looking for a hardworking Maintenance Technician to join our Property Management team! You’ll work onsite at our contracted facilities around the Metro Detroit area. Duties would include replacing light bulbs/ ballasts/ converting old fixtures to LED. Minor electrical repairs, ie. light switch and receptacle replacements. Commercial handyman duties and minor repairs of electrical and plumbing. The ideal person for this job is a reliable team player and a problem solver who has some prior building engineer, maintenance experience. Responsibilities

Lighting retrofits

Conduct minor maintenance

Keep a record of completed repairs

Handle additional maintenance tasks as needed

Qualifications

High school diploma/GED or equivalent

At least 2 years of maintenance experience

Knowledge of general maintenance of lighting fixtures/ballast repairs and replacements

Advanced understanding of maintenance equipment, procedures, and techniques for commercial buildings

Residential home repairs and maintenance not required but helpful

Excellent work ethic, communication skills, time management skills, and attention to detail
