    Overview

    Join our team as a Maintenance Technician and play a key role in ensuring our hotel remains safe, comfortable, and welcoming for guests and associates. In this hands-on position, you will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot equipment issues, and complete repairs throughout the property, including guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering quality workmanship that supports an exceptional guest experience.

    What You'll Do

    • Perform routine maintenance and repairs in guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces.
    • Respond promptly to maintenance requests and work orders.
    • Assist with preventive maintenance programs to ensure building systems and equipment operate efficiently.
    • Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and other facility-related systems.
    • Conduct regular inspections to identify maintenance concerns and address issues proactively.
    • Maintain the appearance and functionality of hotel facilities, furnishings, fixtures, and equipment.
    • Ensure compliance with safety procedures, hotel standards, and local regulations.
    • Assist with painting, carpentry, drywall repair, and general maintenance projects as needed.
    • Maintain accurate records of completed work orders and maintenance activities.
    • Support emergency response efforts and after-hours maintenance needs when required.
    • Collaborate with hotel leadership and team members to support operational goals and guest satisfaction.

    What We're Looking For

    • Previous maintenance experience in a hotel, apartment community, commercial building, or similar environment preferred.
    • Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and general building maintenance.
    • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to prioritize tasks and respond effectively in a fast-paced environment.
    • Basic knowledge of safety procedures and maintenance best practices.
    • Strong communication and customer service skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Flexible availability, including weekends, holidays, and occasional on-call responsibilities.
    • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks including bending, climbing ladders, and standing for extended periods.
    • Trade certifications or technical training are a plus.
