The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining the hotel’s facilities and equipment in excellent working condition to ensure guest comfort, safety, and satisfaction. This role involves performing routine preventive maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and responding promptly to maintenance requests throughout the property. Responsibilities: • Perform daily inspections and preventive maintenance on hotel equipment, guest rooms, and public areas. • Respond quickly to guest and staff maintenance requests to ensure minimal disruption to operations. • Troubleshoot and repair issues related to HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and other building systems. • Maintain accurate records of maintenance work, repairs, and preventive maintenance schedules. • Assist with pool, spa, and fitness equipment maintenance, ensuring compliance with safety and health regulations. • Support other departments with maintenance-related needs as requested. • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the maintenance workshop and storage areas. Qualifications: • Minimum 1–2 years of maintenance experience, preferably in a hotel or commercial building. • Working knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general maintenance systems. • Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities. • Strong communication and problem-solving skills. • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and work on ladders or in confined spaces when required. • Availability for weekends & holidays as needed. Compensation: $20 - $25 hourly
