Responsibilities:
Perform daily checklist for trend analysis
Perform scheduled maintenance to keep equipment functional
Proactively engage with management and production teams to monitor and maintain all production equipment & facilities
Troubleshoot maintenance issues and identify solutions to electrical, mechanical, air and hydraulic systems
Answer emergency calls to return equipment to operational status
Inform management of parts use to maintain inventory
Fabricate, design, implement any upgrades for equipment to ease operator use
Maintain safety of equipment by keeping guards, safeguards, and procedures in place
Maintain facility housekeeping
Competencies:
Strong mechanical problem-solving skills
Proficient in electrical, mechanical, air and hydraulic repair
Ability to train other personnel on equipment maintenance
Ability to learn and master machinery and all maintenance needs
Ability to gain a good understanding of industry materials and specs
Ability to learn to read and use shop drawings
An enjoyment of working with machinery and tools
Enjoyment of helping others and building trusting relationships
