Qualifications
Requirements:
- Bring 1–3 years of maintenance experience , ideally in apartment communities, with strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities.
- Hold or obtain EPA refrigeration certification (Type II or Universal) within 90 days of hire, and maintain a valid driver’s license with reliable transportation.
- Use hand tools and equipment safely while performing tasks that require bending, kneeling, climbing ladders up to 40 ft, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Move and transport heavy equipment such as appliances, laundry machines, and building materials ranging from 75 to 300+ lbs using hand trucks or other aids.
- Perform physically demanding repairs on structures, special equipment, and amenity systems that may require lifting, maneuvering, or extended physical exertion.
- Complete in‑unit upgrades and resident services such as installing lighting or ceiling fans, often requiring ladder work and overhead lifting.
