We are seeking a self-motivated and energetic hands-on full-time Maintenance Technician for Thicket Hill Manufactured Home Community and Hinsdale Campground. The ideal Maintenance Technician is skilled in a variety of areas, including landscaping, snow removal, minor repairs, carpentry, and general grounds maintenance, among others. Must be willing to work as a team with other staff members, but also work independently under the supervisor's direction. Responsibilities: • General maintenance • Daily grounds cleanup • Mowing, landscaping, trimming, and edging • Snow removal/plowing and salting during cold months • Occasional light painting and light carpentry work • Light plumbing • Diagnosing and repairing water and sewer line issues • Vehicle and equipment maintenance and servicing • Monthly vehicle and equipment inspections and reporting • On-call for after-hours emergencies (evenings and weekends); shared with fellow maintenance staff • Physical demands include bending, pushing/pulling, lifting/carrying 50 pounds or more Qualifications: • Must be legally permitted to work in the United States • High school diploma or equivalent • Residential property maintenance experience is helpful • Valid driver's license • Experience with and knowledge of the proper use of power and hand tools • Experience with and knowledge of the proper use of lawn care and landscaping equipment • Experience with and knowledge of the proper use of snowplowing and snow removal equipment • Experience with water and sewer line repairs • Must be a team player, but have the ability to accomplish tasks with minimal supervision • Must undergo a mandatory standard background check, including criminal Compensation: $22 - $23 per hour
