We are seeking a skilled Building Maintenance Technician to join our team and ensure the smooth operation and upkeep of our hotel facilities. This role includes maintaining common areas, meeting spaces, fitness center, and landscaping, as well as performing preventative maintenance for guest rooms and repairing mechanical and electrical equipment. They must have prior experience in building maintenance, including HVAC. They will understand and follow all brand standards. They will make sure the property is always QA ready. Responsibilities: • Be available for emergency repairs and on-call support during evenings or weekends as needed. • Troubleshoot and repair building systems, including plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and general carpentry. • Perform routine maintenance tasks for amenities like pools, fitness areas, and meeting spaces. • Organize and maintain tools, equipment, and workspaces to support efficient operations. • Perform preventative maintenance for guest rooms and public areas, keeping detailed records. Qualifications: • Physical ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds as needed. • Knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC, and general repairs. • Proficiency with tools and equipment, as well as basic computer skills (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Outlook). • Reasonable accommodations can be made for individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the job. • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Compensation: $18 - $20 hourly
