The Maintenance Technician is primarily responsible for maintaining common areas, meeting spaces, restaurants, bar, sauna, fitness center, pool area, and hotel guestroom preventative maintenance. Additionally, the technician assists with the repairs and maintenance of hotel equipment, including mechanical and electrical equipment such as pumps and motors. Responsibilities: • Provide after-hours and weekend support as needed for urgent maintenance needs. • Troubleshoot and repair building systems, including plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and general carpentry. • Be available for emergency repairs and on-call support during evenings or weekends as needed. • Perform preventative maintenance for guest rooms and public areas, keeping detailed records. • Perform routine maintenance tasks for amenities like pools, fitness areas, and meeting spaces. Qualifications: • Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC, and general repairs. • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. • Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays. • Reasonable accommodations can be made for individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the job. • Physical ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
