Felner Corp is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our property management team. This role is responsible for completing work orders, performing general building and apartment maintenance, and supporting the Maintenance Manager in ensuring all properties are well-maintained, safe, and operational. The ideal candidate has strong hands-on skills, a proactive work ethic, and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently. Responsibilities: • Handle and complete maintenance tasks as assigned by the Maintenance Manager. • Perform a wide range of repairs including electrical, HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, painting, ceiling tile replacement, and lighting. • Turn vacant apartments, with emphasis on painting, repairs, and deep cleaning. • Complete preventative maintenance throughout the property portfolio. • Conduct daily property walks and promptly report issues to the Maintenance Manager. • Maintain building systems, equipment, and overall property functionality. • Respond to emergency and after-hours maintenance calls as needed. Qualifications: • Minimum 1 year of experience in apartment or commercial property maintenance, or a related trade. • Strong knowledge of maintenance techniques, tools, and equipment. • Valid U.S. work authorization required. • Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation. • Availability to work nights and weekends; must be able to take periodic on-call shifts. • Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills. • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Compensation: $23 - $27 hourly
