Tesoro Group is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join on of our client's their team at (1) of their properties in Sun Prairie, WI (53590). The ideal candidate will have at least 1 years’ experience in residential maintenance – multi-family experience is required, experience with groundskeeping/porter duties, painting and unit turns. This role is contract to hire (90 days before conversion).

This role will be working with 172 income restricted apartments, 3 stories and was built in 2023.

Salary: $21-$25/hour DOQ. This is contract to hire (90 days before conversion).

Schedule: Monday – Friday standard business hours (8am – 5pm) with 40 hours/week.

Emergency Response Schedule: Every 2-3 weeks and shares on-call rotation with the Maintenance Supervisor.

Responsibilities and Job Duties:

• General maintenance of multifamily apartment buildings, including occupied apartment units.
• Repairs in electrical, plumbing and appliances.
• Participation in cleaning and painting during unit turns.
• Snow removal, trash pick up, and grounds keeping duties.
• Regular, professional, and courteous communications with Property Managers, Maintenance Managers, and Residents.
• On-call rotation; responds to emergency calls after hours and on weekends
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Experience:

• At least 1 years’ experience in residential maintenance - multi-family experience is REQUIRED.
• Experience in unit turns, painting, groundskeeping and porter duties.
• Valid Drivers License and reliable transportation as there will be on-call rotation after conversion.
• Be able to successfully pass a background check before employment.
