The Maintenance Technician is primarily responsible for maintaining common areas, meeting spaces, restaurants, bar, sauna, fitness center, pool area, and hotel guestroom preventative maintenance. Additionally, the technician assists with the repairs and maintenance of hotel equipment, including mechanical and electrical equipment such as pumps and motors. Responsibilities: • Perform routine maintenance tasks for amenities like pools, fitness areas, and meeting spaces. • Assist with pool, sauna, and fitness center maintenance, ensuring compliance with safety regulations. • Respond promptly to guest maintenance requests, ensuring efficient resolution. • Troubleshoot and repair building systems, including plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and general carpentry. • Perform preventative maintenance for guest rooms and public areas, keeping detailed records. Qualifications: • Proficiency in PMS Rooms Management, Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint • Physical ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds as needed. • Knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC, and general repairs. • Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Compensation: $16 - $18 hourly
