You’ll make sure our facilities are operating efficiently, regularly inspect our building for any damage, and conduct routine maintenance on our equipment to keep it running smoothly. Responsibilities: • Perform basic maintenance and service for plumbing, HVAC, electrical, carpentry, appliance, and mechanical repairs in residential apartment units • Promptly answer resident service calls and perform repairs in a timely fashion • Interact politely and professionally with apartment tenants, outside vendors/contractors, and coworkers • Complete all assigned maintenance work on vacant apartments for unit turns and make ready activities • Perform various preventative maintenance measures • Respond to on-call/after-hour emergency maintenance requests/work orders • Maintain community grounds • Paint units • Clean carpets Qualifications: • High school diploma/GED or equivalent • Must be able to demonstrate advanced understanding of maintenance equipment, techniques and procedures • 2+ years of maintenance experience • Excellent work ethic, communication skills, time management skills, and attention to detail • Needs to have availability to respond on nights and weekends to on-call maintenance requests • Ability to easily get to and from work • Valid drivers license and reliable vehicle Compensation: $16 - $18 hourly
